Bedrock Costa Rica, April 2027

Jungle, ocean, and a small group of men doing the real work.

7 days in Uvita, on Costa Rica's southern Pacific coast. Daily group process, bodywork, and ceremony — with enough distance from your life to actually look at it.

  • 9 men per cohort
  • 28 yrs lead clinician's practice
  • 2 circles before and after
Jungle running down to the surf at Bahía Ballena, Uvita, Costa Rica

Same work as Bedrock Oregon. Different terrain doing some of the lifting.

In Sisters, you drive home at night. Here you don't. Seven days away from work, family logistics, and the version of yourself everyone expects — with waterfalls, heat, and ocean in place of a conference room. The structure stays the same: group process, bodywork, ceremony, integration.

What the days are built around

Group process

A daily circle, same men all week. IFS-informed and led by a licensed clinician — you set the pace for what you share.

Ceremony

Fire circle, a cacao ceremony, and a guided breathwork session. Full format walked through on your fitness call.

Bodywork & yoga

Morning movement most days and individual bodywork sessions with on-site practitioners.

How it works

  1. 01

    Fitness call

A conversation about fit, health, and whether this is the right format for you.

  2. 02

    Pre-retreat circle

Meet the group on video before you fly. Nobody arrives a stranger.

  3. 03

    The retreat

7 days on the land. Transfers from San José coordinated.

  4. 04

    Post-retreat circle

Back home, same group, a few weeks later. Where the work lands.

Not sure about doing this in a group?

Most men aren't. Nobody is asked to share more than they choose, and the pre-retreat circle means you've met everyone before day one. What usually surprises men is how much of the work happens watching someone else do theirs.

FAQ

What does it cost?
